Iguana Salad Ingredients

You should have a variety of 5 different items in your iguana salad.  Use the 5 to keep your iguana healthy and alive.  Remember when cutting up these foods the pieces should be no larger than 1/4 the size of the animals head - these doggies don't chew their food.

This is meant to be a guide.
Makes 1 shoebox size portion.
Stays fresh in frig. for about one week.

1 bunch collard greens
3 zucchini
3 carrots
1lb green beans
Add a little fresh fruit at time of serving



***Cut food pieces no bigger than 1/4 size of your iguanas head - remember these doggies do not chew their food.

***Store in a plastic shoebox with holes punched through the top in your refrigerator. This will keep your salad fresh for about a week.

monkey biscuit (looks like a dog biscuit)
vegetable sprouts (all kinds)
iceberg lettuce
any meats
pizza

Iguanas are strictly vegetarians!

60% should include 2 of these healthy foods

collard greens

turnip greens
carrot top greens
beet greens
escarole
summer / winter squash
water cress
okra
green beans
alfalfa
